Who We Are

A custom sign shop in
New York City

Sign It NY is a custom sign shop working across New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. For fifteen years we have designed, fabricated and installed signage for storefronts, retail spaces, restaurants, hotels and building lobbies.

Everything we make is built for the building it goes on. We measure the site, work out how the sign has to sit on the facade and what it has to stand up to, and we install it ourselves.

You see it before we build it

Our designers work through the idea with you first, the layout, the colors and the materials. Before anything is fabricated you get full colour sketches of the design, and digital photos showing the sign on your own building. Nothing goes into production until you have seen what you are getting.

We coordinate sign fabrication and installation from start to finish, backed by 15+ years of industry experience, multiple experienced installation crews, and access to equipment for jobs of every scale, from bucket trucks and lifts to large booms and cranes. We handle the details, including permits, sidewalk closures, and after-hours access, giving you one point of contact from planning through installation.

Who we work with

Most of our work is for independent businesses across the five boroughs, the kind of storefront you walk past every day. We have also built signage for national brands and for some of the largest property firms in the city.

Clients include Marriott, Panasonic, Canon, Nikon, Southwest, Barnes & Noble, Cushman & Wakefield, Douglas Elliman, NY Kids Club and Town Residential.
